KET K-12 Professional Development
These free courses, created by KET in partnership with the Kentucky Department of Education and the GED Testing Service®, offer self-paced professional development for teachers, school staff, adult educators, volunteers, and administrators. In addition, some courses are available for experienced SBDM council members to meet their required hours for yearly training.

This self-paced course on PBS TeacherLine provides volunteers with a step-by-step guide for conducting college and career advising sessions with eighth and tenth grade students and demonstrates how to use the Individual Learning Plan tools with students. There are two self-paced modules in this course. At the end of the course, learners earn a Certificate of Completion.
