In Problem-Based Case Learning (PBCL), a real business problem is identified and presented to students. Students work through the nine stages of the PBCL process in teams. They analyze the problem, conduct field research, make revisions based on their research, form hypotheses about the solution, and finalize their decisions in preparation for presenting them.
In the eighth stage, Evidence of Learning, students present their team's interpretation of the problem and their solution to it. They explain their reasoning and invite feedback from classmates, the instructor, and the business partner.
In the ninth stage, Feedback and Evaluation, the instructor and business partner assess student work.
