Students need to be signed in to complete this lesson. Go to "About This Activity" below to find out more.

In this blended lesson supporting literacy skills, students learn how the physical conditions of the Everglades, a set of ecosystems in southern Florida, support a wide variety of life. They also learn about the effects that changing conditions can have on this unique environment and its inhabitants. Students develop their literacy skills through a science focus on how physical conditions, living things, and habitats are connected. During this process, they read informational text, learn and practice vocabulary words, and explore content through a video and interactive activities.
