  • Yoga Builds Confidence

    In this video, children build their self-confidence through a series of poses within Tadasana or mountain pose. Following along with their instructor, children use their body strength to bend stretch and pivot while maintaining good posture.

  • Setting Goals

    Using this Cool It! video, children learn the art of goal setting. The instructor, Kelsey, gives the group some categories, such as friends/family and school/education, to choose from and visualize/write what they want to have or change within that category. Then, the group writes a paragraph about their goal using specific details. Finally, they close their eyes and visualize a specific goal.

  • Surfing Yoga

    In this video, children learn a little bit about yoga such as why people do it and what it is, as well as learn about surfing yoga. Following their instructor, the children perform different movements such as lunges and the seal posture to pretend they are surfing.

  • Relaxation Yoga

    Learn how to release stressors and relax through a variety of yoga poses. With their instructor leading them, children lie on their mats and perform stretches and poses such as the supported shoulder stand and twists to reach a state of deep relaxation.

  • Group Yoga Poses

    This video captures children and their yoga instructor working as a group to complete various yoga poses. Together, they use their whole bodies to stretch, breathe and improve posture with moves that involve using the people next to them.

  • Go Green

    Reduce, reuse and recycle! This video follows Move It! cast member, Jacob, through his home as he demonstrates how his family minimizes their carbon footprint. Doing things such as reusing or eliminating plastic sandwich bags, using a reusable water bottle, making their own cleaning products and creating toys out of reusable materials, Jacob shows his passion for making his home green!

  • Sun Salutation

    In this video, children follow along with their yoga instructor to start their day out with the sun salutation. Using strong poses such as the Tadasana (mountain pose) and Adho Mukha Svanasana (downward facing dog) as well as controlled, deep breaths, children get good energy as well as a good stretch to begin their day right!

  • Breathing and Stretching

    Join us to learn about different breathing and stretching techniques. Following along with their instructor, children take ocean breaths and move their arms in various motions to follow along with their breath in order to calm and center themselves.

    This video helps children maintain balance in their lives by finding their own physical balance. Following along with their instructor, children use leg and core strength to do multiple poses to achieve physical and mental balance.

  • Get Some Rest

    Follow along with Matthew as he meets with sleep two specialists from Lourdes Hospital Sleep Lab to discuss the importance of sleep. He speaks with Dr. Shah to find out the importance of sleep, how much sleep people need and receives a few sleep tips.  Finally, Matthew does a sleep lab himself to see if he is resting enough through the night.
