FRONTLINE: Growing Up Trans Professional Development Collection

With the increasing visibility of transgender people of all ages, educators have expressed an interest in learning more about this community and the issues it faces. This collection of videos from the FRONTLINE documentary, Growing Up Trans, is offered to provide you, as an educator, with a deeper understanding of gender identity. Through a series of videos clips and a viewing guide, the collection allows educators to begin reflecting on and exploring ways to foster safe and inclusive classrooms. The guide also provides links to organizations with a range of expertise in helping interested educators explore these issues in more detail and in developing research-based initiatives for safe-school and anti-bullying efforts.
