  • Snake Super Sense!

    Join Chris and Martin as they explore the ability of the Diamondback rattlesnake to detect its prey by seeing their body heat! Viewers learn that the Diamondback uses its pit organs as heat-detectors to find their warm-blooded prey!

    Join Chris and Martin as they explore some of the unique body features of animals that live both on land and in water. Viewers learn about the importance of flippers to the walrus, the manatee, and the seal!

  • Migrating Monarchs

    Learn about the way that Monarch butterflies prepare to cross big bodies of water during their journey south for the winter, as well as ways that you can help them! Chris and Martin teach viewers that before crossing a big lake, the Monarchs sleep in the trees surrounding the lake to rest their bodies, eat nectar to fuel up, and check the wind to see if it will help them to fly south! Viewers also learn that they can help Monarch butterflies by planting butterfly gardens in their backyard, giving them a place to fuel up during their journey, as well as tagging the butterflies so that scientists can track their journey!

  • Do the Lizard Walk

    Join Chris and Martin and learn about an amazing creature that can walk on water — the Basilisk lizard! The Kratt brothers explain that because of the large surface area of the Basilisk's feet, they are able to run on water. They can also hold their breath for up to 30 minutes under water!

  • Adventures with Whales

    Set out on the ocean with Chris and Martin as they search for the fast-swimming, deep-diving sea creature: the whale! The Kratt brothers teach viewers about the Fin whale, the second largest whale, and how they can live to be over 100 years old!

  • Wild Sounds

    Learn all about creatures that have a reputation of being ferocious just because of the sounds that they make, even if they are actually gentle creatures! The Kratt brothers explore one creature with this bad reputation — the sugar glider. Chris and Martin explain that the sugar glider, a type of possum that lives in Australia, makes scary noises when it is suprised, but once they have an understanding of their surroundings they are nice animals.

  • Octopus Power!

    Join Chris and Martin as they visit a Giant Pacific octopus and learn all about their amazing creature powers! Viewers learn about the strength of the suction cups on the tentacles, their arm regeneration, and incredible camouflage powers!

  • Tough as a Badger!

    Join Chris and Martin as they fine one of the toughest animals in Africa — the badger! Viewers learn that the honey badger will stand up to animals much larger than they are, including hyenas, cheetahs, and mountain lions.

  • Wild Kratts Glow

    Come along with Chris and Martin and learn about the correct way to interact with fireflies during the summer. Viewers learn that if they are catching fireflies they should handle them very carefully and only keep them for about an hour. They also learn about ways to help fireflies in the environment around their house. For instance, turning off house lights so that the fireflies can see each other's glow, or by avoiding the use of bug-killing pesticides in the lawn.

  • Fishing with Friends

    Join Chris and Martin and learn about the importance of understanding the biology of a fish in order to be a successful fisherman! Viewers learn that different fish are attracted to different bait and that fish like to hide in rocks, logs, and weeds!

  • Super Specialists | Wild Kratts

    Chris and Martin investigate some of the features and abilities of specialized creatures that allow them to survive where other animals can't. In this live action segment from Wild Kratts, learn how camels are built to survive in the desert, yet alpacas would certainly die. Alpacas have specialized feet to help them climb rough terrain where other animals would falter. From kangaroos to Japanese snow monkeys, and cheetahs to bighorn sheep, learn that many animals specialized to their own environment with some amazing characteristics!

  • Swimming Like a Fish

    Join Chris and Martin to learn about the world of fish that live below the surface of a body of water, such as a lake! Viewers learn about the sunfish family and that they got their name because of their bright stomachs. They also explore the largest member of the sunfish family — the bass!

  • Nosing Around | Wild Kratts

    Chris and Martin discover Shiva the African elephant, an animal that can weigh up to 7 tons! In this live action segment from Wild Kratts, learn how an elephant can use its trunk in over 20 different ways, from drinking to communicating with their young.
