    Students wonder, “Why learn physics?” Forces, motion, loads and structures are all important to help architects design buildings that are safe and practical. Students will see how architects use physics in their work.

    Grades: 13+

    Architecture careers can have many paths including engineering, interior design, and environmental design and sustainability. Students will learn from the professionals about architecture careers and coursework they should consider for pursuing this field.

    Grades: 6-12

    Students ask, "Why learn trigonometry?" This architecture career video uses graphic overlays on real architectural structures to engage students and explore the many ways that architects use trigonometry in their jobs.

    Grades: 9-12

    Teachers will learn to help students make the connection between physics and architecture, and to make physics more interesting, with tips and lesson ideas that apply physics to real-life architecture applications.
