Serial, the hugely popular podcast hosted by Sarah Koenig, has prompted much discussion and debate about the murder case of Hae Min Lee and conviction of Adnan Syed, who is currently serving a life sentence. There is a widely held expectation that the law and journalism must be objective. But is that really possible? And does Serial show us that impossibility?
