This set of activities, inspired by the video Sharks and Shorelines, is divided into three parts that explore new, innovative perspectives on shark ecology and behavior.
In Part 1, students learn about lemon sharks, their impact on the mangrove ecosystem, and the threats to sharks worldwide. In Part 2, students partake in a quest to learn about great white sharks and their prey through a series of interactive, online components including real-time data and visualizations. In Part 3, students engage in an outdoor activity designed to teach them about predator/prey relationships in a marine environment.
