        Understanding Tissues & Cells: Form Follows Function

        Students learn that cells are made up of a similar array of organelles but their size, shape, and texture varies tremendously and that form follows function.  Heart muscle cells are designed to expand and contract, bone cells are designed to provide structure, brain cells are designed to communicate with one another.  This interactive is a self paced lessons for students to enjoy on their own.
