        Elliot Computer | History of the Computer

        4th June 1960: A National-Elliot 803 computer being loaded onto a customised Austin 32 cwt van at the Boreham Wood factory of Elliott-Automation, bound for Moscow. Arthur Kennedy, Production Manager of the company's Computing Division will drive across Europe to the British Scientific Instrument Manufacturers Association Exhibition in Moscow at the request of the Soviet government, who also stipulated delivery was to be made by road.
