The Great Florida Cattle Drive: Unbroken Circles

Florida: the land of beaches, theme parks... and cattle?  Yes, cattle.  Saddle up for the Great Florida Cattle Drive, a week-long drive that took place in Central Florida, south of Orlando, in January 2016.  As you ride along on this contemporary Florida cattle drive, you’ll learn about the history of Florida’s cattle industry, which stretches back 500 years to the first Spanish settlements; how it was once the largest exporter of cattle in the U.S.; and how this cow culture and cracker cattle breed from Florida remains alive today, thanks to the modern "cow hunters" and others who keep this living history alive.
