        The 'Neue Synagoge' ('New Synagogue') was built 1859 to 1866, as the main synagogue of the Berlin Jewish community, in Oranienburger Stra??e. Two small, octagonal towers and the impressive gold shiny dome that covered the porch, are the typical architectural, highly visible characteristic signs.
