        Last great chief of the North American Comanche indian tribe Quanah Parker (c. 1840 - 1911) stands and poses for a photograph, late 19th Century. Parker, the son of captive woman Cynthia Ann Parker and Chief Peta Nocone, led raids on settlements in Texas from 1867 to 1875.
