        Edward Cook on Sustained Drought | EarthSky

        Listen as Edward Cook of the Lamont–Doherty Earth Observatory discusses the likelihood that the U.S. Southwest may suffer a sustained drought. Cook reconstructed the Southwest's past climate using tree ring records and discovered that the region has a history of drought. He says global warming might increase this trend.
