New York Post Election Headline Error | U.S. Presidential Elections: 2000

NEW YORK — A copy of a Nov. 8, 2000, early edition of the New York Post declaring George W. Bush winner in the election is held by Ed Marlborough of New York, Nov. 10, 2000. Marlborough was trying to sell the papers in front of the New York Stock Exchange, and claimed that copies are going for $200 and up on eBay. The Post, caught in an early morning deadline crunch, proclaimed on its front page that George W. Bush was the winner of the presidential election. (Photo by Chris Hondros/Newsmakers)
