- Captain, Army Air Corps | Georgia Oral History

Mr. Ervine "Pete" Inglis, Jr. graduated from Grinnell College and Washington University Medical School and went on to serve as a flight surgeon. Here he recalls why he joined the Air Corps after college, flying an A-26 Invader plane in Yokota, Japan, and the events that led to him regretting becoming a flight surgeon. Mr. Inglis was born on January 29, 1922 in Aurora, Nebraska.
