Together we sing the “Hola” song. Afterwards, Sra. Alicia and Susana discuss slow and fast music, and invite students to sing the song “Hola, ¿como estás?” first lento (slowly), and then rapido (quickly). Sra. Alicia teaches a movement song “Las Manos, in which students follow commands to move, open, and close their hands. Sra. Alcia then asks students to join her in singing “Las Manos,” first slow and then fast. The lesson ends with a moving activity with Sra. Alicia and Sr. Enrique. Sra. Alicia asks that whenever Sr. Enrique plays quickly the students dance and run and use locomotor movements, and whenever he plays slowly the students use non locomotor movements. The lesson closes with the “Adios” song.
