        Gibbons v. Ogden (1824) and Resource Materials

        This is a facsimile of the Gibbons v. Ogden 1824 Supreme Court decision, in which the court ruled that states were barred from enacting any legislation that would interfere with Congress' right to regulate commerce among the separate states, and that Federal law takes precedence over state law.
