Jackie Thrasher knew that there were problems with Arizona's education system. Discovering that her state received the least in public education funds per student, she began asking questions and following the money. To change the situation, Thrasher ran for office and became part of a new movement called "clean elections" that allows "ordinary" citizens to run for political office. Today, she is fighting for the education system as a member of Arizona's House of Representatives.
