        World War II Veteran Anna Villwock 
- Yeoman 3rd Class, WAVES | Georgia Oral History

        Mrs. Anna Pierce Villwork shares her memories of Pearl Harbor, her work with the WAVES and why she felt it was important for her to serve. Mrs. Villwock was born in Falkland, North Carolina on December 12, 1923 but lived most of her life in middle Georgia. She joined the Navy Waves in October of 1944. After completing her training at Oklahoma State University she served in operations in the Gulf Sea Frontier where she kept track of ship movement in the Gulf Sea.
