        From Homeland To Homeroom

Refugees are forced to leave their homes and often experience terrible hardship during their relocation. Some young refugees are resettled in the U.S. and can be placed in special transition schools that help prepare them for life in America. St. Louis Public School District's International Welcome School is one such school, and in this clip from Homeland: Immigration in America, we hear from the executive director of the school who explains how they help students find peace after going through a challenging relocation.
