Secrets of Scotland Yard: Part 8

In this segment of Secrets of Scotland Yard, learn about the famous murder case solved by Scotland Yard in 1910 thanks to two world-changing inventions of the Victorian age. When an American doctor living in North London is suspected of murdering his wife, Scotland Yard dispatched a detective to investigate. The evidence he found was substantial, but the Met needed forensics to help identify the body. Using a science and forensics to prove the fact of murder was a new technique and one that provided irrefutable evidence for conviction.
