Bechdel’s aesthetic was established in her comic strip, Dykes to Watch Out For, which captured the diverse lives of a community of lesbian women navigating contemporary events. Her recent book-length graphic memoir, Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic, was adapted into a Tony Award winning Broadway musical in 2014. This resource is part of the MacArthur Fellows Program Collection.
