Mr. John Tyson Hardin was an Air Force Captain serving in the European theater during WWII. Mr. Hardin, who was born on December 17, 1919, in Macon, Mississippi, had a long standing admiration for airplanes and flyers, and, as a child, saved money to make model airplanes.
