Views of Earth Features from Space

Analyze and annotate select features of Earth in photographs taken from space by NASA astronauts with this WGBH resource. Features, including rivers and mountains, appear differently based on the scale in which they are viewed. This resource gives students the opportunity to analyze four images of Earth from a less familiar perspective so they can identify and label landforms and water features. A separate document describes the land and water features visible in the images and provides definitions for each feature.
