        Rising Seas Greenland Ice Sheet

This video consists of excerpts from “Rising Seas: NASA on the Greenland Ice Sheet” by NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. It provides a glimpse into the dynamic landscape of the Greenland Ice Sheet and some of the tools researchers use to study ice changes and sea level rise.

        Greenland Ice Sheet Mass Changes

This visualization shows the mass changes of the Greenland Ice Sheet from 2003 through 2009. The chart shows the mass changes in gigatons, while the colors show the mass changes in water height equivalent in centimeters (that is, the amount of water the melted snow and ice would correspond to.)
