        Project C: Lessons from the American Civil Rights Movement

        Join a group of student reporters to visit landmarks related to the Civil Rights Movement in commemoration of its 50th anniversary with these videos from Project C. Project C focuses on the role of citizenship in a democracy through the study of historical events related to the Civil Rights Movement. History is examined to teach the importance of civic engagement in support of a humane, civil and just society.

        The Children's March

        Episode 1 explores historic events in Birmingham, Alabama in 1963 related to the Civil Rights Movement. Our student reporters begin to discover how the Civil Rights Movement is still relevant. They visit the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, Bethel Baptist Church and more, to speak with experts.
