        World War II Veteran William Mitchell

        William G. Mitchell served with the Army Air Corps in the European theatre. Mr. Mitchell was born in March of 1921 and is an Emory graduate who enlisted right after graduation. Mr. Mitchell recalls losing his propeller over Berlin, "Access Sally," a turncoat radio DJ who tried to intimidate American pilots, and an attempt to bomb the German Reichstag.
