Henry the VIII's Treason Act | Inside the Court of Henry VIII

This clip traces King Henry the VIII's reign in the years immediately following the passage of the Treason Act of 1534. Henry became increasingly paranoid following the break from the Catholic Church, resulting in the executions of his friends, holy men, and members of the court accused of questioning Henry's Royal Supremacy over the church or his new marriage. This clip also looks at the Dissolution of the Monastries, one of the key features of Henry VIII's reign.
