My class struggles with rules and with self control. The class is too long for their attention span and too big, 45 minutes and 26 4 and 3 year olds. There is not assistant. I teach general music. I want students to be able to fall into routines in music, use strategies to descalate their emotional outbursts and to create music. Developmentally in music, students can tell stories with music, explore instruments, dance and sing two or three pitched songs. This is lesson 2 in a series.
