Learn about dispersion in this clip from Gorongosa Park: Rebirth of Paradise. Gorongosa's wildlife population took a hard hit during the civil war. Few species were hit as hard as the parks wildebeest. Wildlife cameraman, Bob Poole comes across a lone male scent marking his territory to attract females and ward off the competition. Unbeknown to this male, there aren't any other wildebeest for miles around. His story is not unique, lots of other big grazers share the same fate. Park vet Rui Branco and Ryan Long head out on a mission to collar a Kudo. The tracking data will provide invaluable information as to why these big grazers and recovering.
