In the clip from Genius by Stephen Hawking, learn how to make the perfect martini using the laws of physics. Using a pendulum suspended on a chain, three volunteers must learn how to make the perfect martini by knocking an olive into the glass on multiple occasions without the pendulum touching the glass. This demonstration will show how the laws of physics are always in control and they don't allow exceptions. What happens to the olive is pre-determined by where and how the pendulum is released, in short the laws of motion. The conditions must be the same every time to achieve the same outcome.
