Honoring Our Vets l GI Jews

Space Coast Honor Flight is part of a network of nonprofit organizations that takes U.S. military veterans to Washington, D.C., to see the memorials of their respective wars. The trip is organized and carried out at no cost to the veterans.  Arthur Friedman, a Jewish World War II veteran who served in the U.S. Army Air Corps, was one of 25 veterans who traveled to Washington, D.C, on a recent trip with the group based in Brevard County, Florida. Friedman, who grew up in New York City, served in the Pacific during the war.
