Jennifer Eberhardt, Social Psychologist | MacArthur Fellows Program

In this interview, 2014 MacArthur Fellow Jennifer L. Eberhardt shares her work as a social psychologist and her research on the complex ways that individuals racially code and categorize people, with a focus on associations between race and crime. Through collaborations with experts in criminology, law, and anthropology as well as law enforcement and jurors, she is helping to reveal how racial perceptions influence individual and institutional judgments. Eberhardt is also working with law enforcement to improve policing and build trust within communities. This resource is part of the MacArthur Fellows Program Collection.
