Jorge Pardo, Installation Artist | MacArthur Fellows Program

In this interview, 2010 MacArthur Fellow Jorge Pardo discusses his creative process as an innovative installation artist exploring the intersection of contemporary painting, design, sculpture, and architecture. Pardo’s works challenge traditional presentation with installations that consciously ignore the constraints of conventional museum and gallery spaces and extend into the outdoors. In reaching beyond defined disciplines, Pardo is engaging viewers with works that produce great visual delight while questioning distinctions between fine art and design. This resource is part of the MacArthur Fellows Program Collection.
