Daniel Goldman grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, and began playing the clarinet at age 10. He finished his last two years of high school studying at the Interlochen Arts Academy and then enrolled at The Julliard School in New York.
In this segment, Goldman returns to Louisville to perform with young musicians at the Kentucky Center for the Arts. The segment shows him teaching a class and discussing how music is his way of communicating.
