        Braille | Move to Include

Learn what Braille is, and how it used as a mode of communication and literacy for people with blindness or visual impairments. The Braille alphabet is based on a code of six dots that are raised up and can be distinguished through touch. The video shows students using a Braille writer to type Braille. Braille is a literacy tool that works similarly to visual print but can be read through touch. Visit the Move to Include collection for additional resources.
