In this video excerpt from NOVA’s "The Fabric of the Cosmos: Universe or Multiverse?" host and theoretical physicist Brian Greene explains how the concept of the multiverse, or the idea that there could be multiple universes outside of our own universe, challenges the notion of uniqueness. In the multiverse, there could be countless other universes, many of them very different than our universe. However, mathematically speaking, there should be a universe out there just like our own, with exact copies of everything—and everyone.
