Crosby, Frederick Gordon (1885-1943); British. Medium: colour lithograph. Reginald Alexander John Warneford (1891-1915), Royal Naval Air Service officer. Warneford was forced to land behind enemy lines after downing the German airship LZ37 over Belgium on 7th June 1915 but managed to repair his aircraft and return to base.
