A New Social Dynamic | The Great Polar Bear Feast

Polar bears are very intelligent animals. They have adapted to survive in the Artic, an extremly harsh and cold landscape to live in. In Kaktovik, polar bears return every year because of the food they find at the whale bone pile. Normally percieved as solitary animals, bears will avoid each other and confrontaion when out on the ice, but with the numbers of bears growing in Kaktovik year after year and the diminishing sea ice, the reward of the bone pile is teaching this population to be tolerant of each other.
