        Philosophy During The Ming Dynasty

        Students will read a short description of Chinese philosophy during the Ming Dynasty, especially the emergence of Neo-Confucianism. Then students will read excerpts from both Confucius and Wang Yangming and make determinations about which philosophical position these philosophers are advocating.
