        Donald Trump Sworn in as 45th President | PBS NewsHour

        At noon on Friday, January 20, Donald Trump was sworn into office by Chief Justice John Roberts on the steps of the United States Capitol Building. In his inaugural address, Trump said that his presidency will mark a turning point in approving the lives of working class Americans. Trump also promised to lower U.S. crime rates and to eradicate "Islamic terrorism" in the coming years.
