Page de titre: le duel Henry-Picquart, officiers opposes dans l'affaire Dreyfus; the Dreyfus affair involved the conviction for treason in November 1894 of Captain Alfred Dreyfus for having passed on French military secrets to the German Embassy; he was later found innocent; Colonel Henry committed suicide after it was foujd he had forged documents pertaining to Drefus's guilt; Marie Georges Picquart (1854-1914), a French Minister of War, exposed the truth in the Dreyfus affair; Provenance: Private Collection / Giraudon.
