Robert Carr (c.1587-1645), 1st Earl of Somerset; Frances Howard (1590-1632); they were accused of poisoning Sir Thomas Overbury, who died during the annulment proceedings between Frances Howard and her first husband Robert Devereux, 3rd Earl of Essex in 1613; Provenance: Private Collection.
