Jennie Jerome (1854-1921) Lady Randolph Churchill, American born society hostess and writer, shown on the right holding her dog; mother of Winston Churchill (1874-1965) British Prime Minister. The other women are Lady Randolph's mother Clara and her two sisters Clarita and Leonie. Leonie was the long term mistress of Queen Victoria's son Prince Arthur, Duke of Connaught and Strathearn.
