Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom (1819-1901) and her mother Princess Victoria of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld (1786-1861), who was also known as the Duchess of Kent after marrying Victoria's father Prince Edward, Duke of Kent and Strathearn (1767-1820), this was her second marriage; Victoria and her mother had a very difficult relationship; Provenance: Private Collection.
