King James I (1566-1625) is shown seated in Parliament with his daughter Elizabeth (1596-1662) Queen of Bohemia and her husband Frederick V (1596-1632) Elector Palatine, and Prince Charles (1600-49) later King Charles I kneeling before him; figures at the bottom celebrate by holding aloft purses and sacred flaming hearts; Thomas Scott (c.1580-1626) English preacher who wrote 'Vox Populi'; Provenance: Private Collection.
