        Duerer, Albrecht (1471-1528). Medium: woodcut. Date: 1525. Durer invented several different sorts of 'drawing machine' that enabled the artist to better master perspective through the use of grids; The image would later be transferred onto canvas or panel in the studio; Provenance: Private Collection.
