An illustration of the Russian ballet dancer Vaslav Nijinsky (1890-1950) performing in a 1910 Diaghilev Ballet Russes production of the Russian composer Rimsky-Korsakov's (1844-1908) 'Scheherazade', choreographed by Michel Fokine (1880-1942); The production was designed by Leon Bakst (1866-1924) and Nijinsky danced the role of the Favourite Slave; V.
